Abstract: This study investigates the conflict and violence in Balochistan, Pakistan, with a focus on identifying root causes and exploring reconciliation strategies to foster long-term peace and stability. The research employs a qualitative methodology, including primary data from interviews with key stakeholders such as local leaders, policymakers, and civil society representatives. Findings reveal that historical grievances, socio-economic disparities, and political marginalization are key drivers of conflict in the region. The study highlights the need for equitable resource distribution, political inclusion, and the establishment of a Truth and Reconciliation Commission tailored to Balochistan’s socio-political dynamics. Recommendations include strengthening local governance structures, fostering inter-ethnic cooperation, and implementing youth-focused development programs to promote sustainable peace.
